Julie R Madison is an illustrator, muralist, and painter, with a focus on surrealist animals and environments. Her work features otherworldly creatures that tap into our primal, naturalistic side, eliciting the emotions therein. 

"Dirty Dishes" is a project that aims to capture absurdity and humor in functional household goods through juxtaposition of silly animal drawings with abrasive obscenities on clean, sleek products. That smile with your Monday morning coffee is a bonus. All ceramic good are hand decaled and fired in her home studio since 2012.
